The antithesis to fear

This month in The Inner Ecosystem we are exploring women and fear.

Fear is a nominalization, which means that it only exists in the representational systems of your unique nervous system.

What might trigger fear in you might not in another. How fear shows up for you will be different than another. There isn’t one way to experience fear.

And the responses vary between fight, flight, freeze, fawn depending on which dominant and secondary strategies you picked up growing up. They can be summarized by the four below:

Fear holds us back from living our lives. It holds us captive to a reality that does not exist but we keep bringing itself into existence by focusing on the fear.

Because your nervous system doesn't know how to tell if the fear is real (in the moment) or imagined, it responds as if the threat is real.

We focus on the fear in many different ways – the chaos in the world, doom scrolling, our family, worry, our job, scarcity (money), feeling incapable, inability to make decisions, etc. What’s your familiar go-to? Hit reply, let me me know.

Fear is a powerful way to keep us locked in the familiarity of the status quo. And because fear feels real the nanosecond it is activated, we believe it.

But just because the familiar shows up, it does not mean it has to hijack YOU.

For that to happen, you have to discover the essence of your Being; your intention for descending into a world of matter.

Wen you are intentional about living your life from that space, your life transforms. Because you’re intentionally not focused on the fear, but on the creation of your meaningful life.

The antithesis to fear is creation.

What have you created today that brought you joy? Joy is the antithesis to fear. Creation is the antithesis to fear. Presence is the antithesis to fear. See where I’m going with this?

Let me break some of this down for those who are new to this process, and for those who want a reminder. Here are some presuppositions I move forward with in my life that I encourage you to consider as real in your life:

All time is now. There is no past, and there is no future. It all only exists in your experience of this moment. When you focus your attention on the "now", you take ownership of the potential of your choices. In other words, you can make better choices.

If I am creating it, it is intelligent. My “job” is now to discover its intelligence from a higher order perspective (aka the Signal that I Am, not the terrified and rage-full seven year old).

⟶ The terrified and fear-full seven year old will only reveal her secrets when she feels safe to do so. To do that, you must sufficiently relax the body so that the truth can descend. ​That's what Quantum TLC™ is designed for.​

Quantum TLC is not a strategy to make fear go away, it is a way of moving through life for integration of fear into the larger system that is “you”.

⟶ I am not the body, I am the wave of intelligence that streams through the body.

⟶ The wave that presents is only here for my evolution. No matter how scary it feels, I must choose to go there in order to discover and integrate it's wisdom.

It isn’t always easy … and you can never fool your body.

You cannot force it. You cannot make it happen. You cannot silence it. You cannot deny it. You cannot pretend with it. You cannot plead with it. You cannot You cannot be anything but with the Truth of it.

If you try to label it or make sense of it or put it in a box, it will come back with a wrath (why? Because now it knows you are choosing to avoid it / deny it / dismiss it / defend it and it will not comply).

In the case of dealing with an old fear response in the body, your awareness has to become the bigger crucible within which everything is held in place – all the seeming double binds, the pain, the joy, the complexity, the anchors, etc. and ultimately… the Truth of our experience.

We have to find a way to make right right.

One way to do that is to make peace with the layered nature of fear. That's what this self-directed exploration is all about.
