Fear is palpable. Fear of climate change. Fear of conflict and war. Fear of violence - against women, against children, against men. Fear of scarcity and deprivation. And the list goes on and on and on…. If we do not find another place to stand, we are destined to look around us, outside of us, and notice what others are choosing - and quite likely, choose the same or the opposite. But what if there is another way to choose?

Rather than room rates in excess of $220 per night at this 5-star resort, retreat participants will enjoy a special rate of $149 (double occupancy) per night (plus applicable taxes), depending on your choice of level of service - and view!
You also have access to this ‘can’t resist’ rate for additional nights before and after the retreat dates at the same rate, should you want to extend your stay and take more time to rest and relax at this secluded Resort.

Women and Fear: Choosing Beyond Limitation is a retreat experience for women who want more. Combining small group conversations with quiet times for personal reflection and discovery, the four days quickly go by. Whether it's your first time or whether you're back again to dive deeper and accelerate your evolution, your journey of transformation always includes safety, science and a touch of the sacred. This journey will explore:
Why this? This four-day Emerging Futures retreat will take you deeply into yourself, like no other journey that has come before. In the good company of other women who know well the power of the WEL-Systems process; know well their own courage and depth of potential; and who know well that their lives are theirs to design in the holographic universe of their choosing, there will be no stones unturned. The conversations will go where they lead us - without hesitation and without imposing limitations on what we might discover.
Why now? The future is in the hands of women: women awake and present to themselves and others, with RIG; women mindful of themselves as Creators and Manifestors; women pregnant with the potential of a new and more fecund world; and women as guides in their own lives - first! - and potentially, for others, in theirs. For eons, women have been bullied, coerced, assaulted and bound into the servitude of a smaller life. For eons, women have known they are far more than they have been allowed to consider for themselves. In this place, at this time, we will explore together, what becomes possible when we awaken to our own potential.
Why not! Where will this conversation go? How deep will the dive be, as we approach the edges of the darker waters? What will we discover - about ourselves, our world and our ability to move through it? This is the journey of the enquiry, trusting that its dimensions will be revealed as we go; and knowing that we are all, indeed, up for the ride!
The Space as Metaphor
In our previous times at the Chateau Montebello, we have found support and comfort in its open spaces; windows galore as we look out over the river and its bounty. We have also noticed that in these expansive spaces, many were held in a dark and heavy way. Replicas of emanating light of times gone by, casting shadows in ways that betray the senses; fading light anchoring darkness in the corners of our minds. The Power Center responds with an activation of alertness, causing us to peer more attentively... more cautiously, perhaps... into the faded light. As we move forward into the Spaces of our choosing, we come to know that we ARE the Light that is required for illumination. In that moment, darkness lifts and the sun awakens us to a new dawn.
This welcoming and inviting reminder of Source is ever-present as we engage from the privacy of our cosy space, expansive windows allowing us a full view of all that is in motion beyond our quiet place. From the rising of the sun to its moment of sinking slowly beyond the horizon, we are reminded of our birthright of flow and possibility; of inhaling potential and exhaling our manifestation, each moment a precursor to the next. And like the river can change the expression of its flow, we reconnect to that simple truth inside ourselves: ours is the hand at the helm of our own destiny.
The Invitation
Although we are drawn to the light, we cannot deny the truth of our experience: darkness lives in the worlds of our collective co-creation. To live in fear of that darkness only causes it to grow; and it feeds on the presence of our absence as expressions of other than that. This conversation will move us directly into the path of the darkness in our own perceptions that create our limitations. As long as we choose from those limitations, we will never know the full measure of the Light that each of us is. In this safe space for expression and discovery, we will create what we need in order for us to become both willing and able to embrace the dark; find within it, the Light that we are; and move forward with the capacity to reclaim, redesign and redefine our lives.
Many of us will be arriving at the Chateau Montebello the day before the event (Monday), in anticipation of settling in and exploring what this quiet space has to offer. Give yourself the opportuity to ease slowly into this powerful process in a way that allows you to reconnect to your own thoughts and intentions, for this time taken just for you. The structure of the event encourages you to take that extra day at the end (Saturday), taking your time as you return to your 'normal' life with new thoughts, new experiences and new perspectives integrating powerfully into your body.
The Women and Fear Retreat will begin on Tuesday morning, November 20th, at 10:00 a.m. and end on Friday, November 23rd, at 4:00 pm. As in all Emerging Futures retreats, we'll gather at 10:00 a.m. to begin our day; break from 1:00 to 3:00 pm for lunch, journaling, spa treatments, etc.; and reconvene from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm to complete our day. Our evenings are our own to do with as we please. Small group conversations, shared meals and quiet time in solitude to reflect on the day's discoveries... all are possible for the choosing.
Our time together will be spent in easy chairs and comfy sofas, settled in for amazing conversation with amazing women! Large windows open onto the expanse of the river as it drifts by, reminding us that we have all the time in the world to pay attention to what matters most to us in this moment.
Offering lots of room to move about without missing a beat of the conversation, your way of engaging can easily be supported by this quiet, gentle place. Together, we will leave far more than we had imagined possible when we arrived!
