Far too many of us have been molded, shaped and fired in the kiln of the expectations of social conditioning for more years than we care to remember. When we look back, we weren't invited to define ourselves - we were indoctrinated into perceiving ourselves a certain way, depending on the 'flavour of the moment' in our social context.

Regardless of age, economics, religion or culture, none of us escapes the ever-present and potent cultural conditioning that presents through image and sound. Several times a day, we are relentlessly pursued by a context for being 'woman' that rarely includes an invitation to be part of defining it. This four-day experience is your opportuity to change that! In this process, your time has come.

Special rates have been negotiated with the Delta Fredericton to significantly reduce your cost for the duration of your stay. Rather than room rates in excess of $190 per night at this river-front hotel, retreat participants will enjoy a special rate of $129 per night (plus applicable taxes), for your river-front room.
You also have access to this ‘can’t resist’ rate for additional nights before and after the retreat dates should you want to extend your stay and take more time to rest and relax at this peaceful location.

Sexual, Sensual and Spiritual Beings is a retreat experience for women who want more. Combining small group conversations with quiet times for personal reflection and discovery, the four days quickly go by. Whether it's your first time or whether you're back again to dive deeper and accelerate your evolution, your journey of transformation always includes safety, science and a touch of the sacred. This journey will explore:
Sexual: We are physical beings inhabiting a physical universe. Without our body, we would be unable to be seen and heard by others in this magnificent context of place, event and experience that we all engage. Our body makes it possible for us to experience what we live, offering a majestic array of calibrations that let us know we're alive! The larger question then becomes: how adept are we at designing the contexts within which we experience ourselves? It is common knowledge that the most powerful sensing organ in the body is the skin; and that sex begins in the mind. What are we creating as the 'stage' for our own sexual expression?
Sensual: Our senses - internal and external - are the gateway of experience in a physical world. Our ability to invite and allow; our ability to notice and move beyond our perceived limitations and engage will determine our willingness and ability to live rich, full and meaningful lives. Knowing how to see beyond the limitations of our physical eyes makes it possible for us to embrace what does not yet exist. How else might we discover the power of our intenral sensory capacities to enhance our external expressions?
Spiritual: We are Beings of Light, moving through space and time as expressions of pure potential in a magnificent sensory experience of Self. We are massive invitations to ourselves and each other to discover the journey of energy to matter... of the sacred to the secular... of the divine to the defined. We are never our perceived limitations - we are always so much more than we ever dreamed we could become! In that, we define the meaning of our presence, the manner of its expressions and the matter that we choose to engage.
The Space as Metaphor
Perched effortlessly on the banks of the Saint John river in Fredericton, New Brunswick, the softly flowing waters are a constant reminder of the energy (Water) that is the element of the 2nd Chakra - home of sexuality, sexual expression, procreation, fertility; as well as information we carry from family systems - the one of our origins and the one we choose now to create for ourselves.
This welcoming and inviting reminder of Source is ever-present as we engage from the privacy of our cosy space, arched windows allowing us a full view of all that is in motion beyond our quiet place. From the rising of the sun to its moment of sinking slowly beyond the horizon, we are reminded of our birthright of flow and possibility; of inhaling potential and exhaling our manifestation, each moment a precursor to the next. And like the river can change the expression of its flow, we reconnect to that simple truth inside ourselves: ours is the hand at the helm of our own destiny.
The Invitation

From the paths you walk to the company you keep and the conversations you design or tolerate, these four days are your invitation to be part of a provocative, compelling and life-altering exploration of the woman that you choose to be! In this safe space for expression and discovery, you'll find an oasis of body, mind and spirit to quench your thirst and feed your soul's curiosity about what lies beyond the culturally-conditioned boundaries etched deeply into your own potential.
Many of us will be arriving at the Delta Fredericton the day before the event (Tuesday), in anticipation of settling in and exploring what this quiet space has to offer. Give yourself the opportuity to ease slowly into this powerful process in a way that allows you to reconnect to your own thoughts and intentions, for this time taken just for you. The structure of the event encourages you to take that extra day at the end (Sunday), taking your time as you return to your 'normal' life with new thoughts, new experiences and new perspectives integrating powerfully into your body.
The Sexual, Sensual and Spiritual Beings Retreat will begin on Tuesday morning, September 28th, at 10:00 a.m. and end on Friday October 1st, at 4:00 pm. As in all Emerging Futures retreats, we'll gather at 10:00 a.m. to begin our day; break from 1:00 to 3:00 pm for lunch, journaling, spa treatments, etc.; and reconvene from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm to complete our day. Our evenings are our own to do with as we please. Small group conversations, shared meals and quiet time in solitude to reflect on the day's discoveries... all are possible for the choosing.
Our time together will be spent in easy chairs and comfy sofas, settled in for amazing time spent with amazing women! Large, arched windows open onto the expanse of the river as it drifts by, reminding us that we have all the time in the world to pay attention to what matters most to us in this moment.
Offering lots of room to move about without missing a beat of the conversation, your way of engaging can easily be supported by this quiet, gentle place. Together, we will leave far more than we had imagined possible when we arrived!
