is more than a book about parenting. This is a book about human potential and the choice to move forward and evolve beyond the limitations of our past. Parenting is something that is passed from generation to generation, replicating patterns of thought and behavior, often completely out of our awareness.

Anita Allen
Anita holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and is a certified CODE Model Coach™. She is the Founder of WELsprings Institute that offers workshops, individual coaching and keynotes related to human potential. Of particular interest to her are the topics of creativity, parenting and wellness.
Anita is the owner of Alternative Physiotherapy, located in Aurora, Ontario. Her unique approach blends her skills as a Physiotherapist and CODE Model Coach as she facilitates her clients to return to optimal health. She practices in an expanded context that is founded on a WEL-Systems Perspective and cutting-edge information emerging from the fields of quantum physics and biology; a context that transcends the artificial division of mind, body and spirit.
An avid writer, Anita is currently working on her own book, in addition to contributing articles to various on-line and print magazines as well as blogging on the topics of family life and wellness.

Naomi Irons-Hill
I am an Intensely Intimate Woman. I am committed to constantly discovering how to be more authentically 'Me', while engaged in the various roles of my life which include:
- Mother to 2 beautiful children (ages 2 and 5), who know they are the most important person in THEIR world.
- Wife, to a husband who is more then up for journey we are traveling separately and together.
- Business Owner who is passionate about the evolution of Women.
I am moving forward in my life with passion for creating a very different conversation within the topics of women and authenticity, conception, pregnancy, birth and parenting. I use a variety of modalities (Massage, Personal Growth and Birth Coaching, Meditation and Yoga) to create safety within the body. Safety encourages the opening and relaxation of the body into the genius we carry. When we feel safe within our bodies we realize safety is an inside job. When we know WE have created it we no longer need to look outside ourselves for others to create safety for us. We are so much MORE then we have been taught to believe we are!

Marie Smith
Marie Smith is a CODE Model Coach™ now living in Ottawa with her husband while her son is off exploring a meaningful life for himself. Rigorous about her own self growth, her experience creates a safe space for you to discoverthe “more” of who you can become.

Lucy Hensel
Lucy Hensel has been a volunteer for many years in the international development, community economic development and philanthropy sectors. Thanks to her experiences with the WEL-Systems® Institute, Lucy has recently discovered a great deal more of herself - and her journey continues. With her recent training as a CODE Model Coach™ and her willingness to engage with others and encourage them to experience life as the wonderful adventure she has learned it can be, Lucy lives more fully than before. While continuing to be intrigued by photography, Lucy now claims her delight in painting and writing.
A first-time author with this chapter in Guardians of the Vision, Lucy is curious to discover what new paths open up for her as she fully claims this experience for herself and engages more deeply and actively with the important issues raised in the expanding discussion of 'parenting for potential'. Each of these interests will be important for her as she moves into what seems like a new life, each day.
Lucy's eagerness to explore and experience who she is more deeply and to expand her life in ways that are meaningful to her give her a sense of flourishing, momentum and continuous discovery. Cathy Carmody
After spending many years as a leader and change agent in large organizations, Cathy moved on in 1995, to create a partnership in the emerging field of human potential. In 2005, she was on the move again, creating her own incorporated company, WELwoman Inc. and writing what was to become her first published book: Out of Hiding: Reclaiming my Voice and Taking My Life Back.
The most recent 10 years of Cathy’s life have come together in ways that have stirred up a huge inner fire that may have been smoldering for many years. Through her writing, both in her book and in articles, she has thrown out a challenge to all women to ‘find and reclaim their voices’, inside and outside their organizations. Through her various program offerings and conversations - including the now well known, Finding Your Voice program – all grounded in the WEL-Systems® body of knowledge, Cathy shares her wisdom with those who yearn to experience their presence in workplaces, in new and differing ways. Her work creates the space within which individuals can discover their unlimited potential, step up to courageous conversations and create the conditions for organic collectives to emerge and flourish.
Cathy’s programs are of interest to all women, and to those courageous men who want to live their lives differently.
