Spotlight On — An Explosion of Creativity
Moving beyond the rules!
Have you ever thought about your rules for creativity? You know, those rules you carry somewhere inside, the ones that were taught to you throughout your life, the ones that often don’t sound like rules, just some (adult?) voice saying: if you’re going to sing, you’d better sound just like the guy on the radio; a painting is only good if it actually looks like the thing you’re painting; orange and red don’t go together, silly; if it isn’t neat, it isn’t art; well you sure made a pig’s foot of that, guess you’d better give it up now. Just stop for a moment and allow yourself to know the truth of what you carry about your ability to be creative ...to be an artist.
It took me many long decades to discover that my “rules” about being creative were simply someone else’s opinion about the nature of creativity. And to notice that in many areas of my life I’d long since learned to quit paying attention to someone else’s opinion. So why was I hanging on so tightly in this one area? When I decided to loosen my grip on those rules that were rattling around in my body, I began to discover all kinds of things about myself and how I moved through the world. And, more importantly, I began to be able to express who I was with paint. The speed and vibrancy of what emerged from my being often astounded me.
In moving these discoveries from inside my awareness to the outside world, I discovered, yet again, that my experiences not only map closely to those of many others, but that leading creativity workshops were joyful, fun filled opportunities for both me and the curious souls who wanted to explore ever more about themselves.

Cove, Nova Scotia if you would like to explore your creativity. I'll provide
all the necessary supplies for you to discover more about how creative you
are through either watercolour or acrylic media. All you have to do is bring
a curiosity for discovering more about you, a desire to soak up the warm, nurturing

Two levels of program experience are being offered:
Creativity for Living runs Sunday evening, Monday afternoon
and Tuesday morning, August 7, 8 & 9th. This programs requires no previous exposure
to a WEL-Systems perspective, nor any previous painting experience, yet guarantees
that you'll leave with a fresh, new perspective on how creative you are, the
many ways in which you are living a creative life, and with many ideas on how

Creativity for Life is offered all day Wednesday and Thursday,
August 10th and 11th. You must have experienced one of the WEL-Systems intensive
programs to register into this playshop, although previous painting experience

2 full days, producing astounding results for both the beginning artist and those

Awakening the Quantum
Biological Human™ Conference
A band of committed seekers brought their curiosity and desire to become
more to the Valhalla Inn in Toronto on May 28 & 29th for the inaugural Awakening
the Quantum Biological Human™ Conference. Each person found many
things, in true WEL-Systems fashion. Bruce Lipton filled in many spaces
in the on-going scientific conversation of the profound shift in our understanding
of what it is to be human. Louise then built on the discoveries from the
quantum sciences to invite participants to consider a whole new context for
the evolution of human consciousness ...'stay tuned for
another book from Louise' was one of the thoughts I found myself thinking as I engaged her provocative
and profound invitation!
Dominique Desilets from Ottawa had these thoughts about her experience: "I
am so happy that I chose to go to the conference and that I created the space
to be fully present to all of the magical conversations that took place. You,
Gwen and Paul should be thanked and commended for having followed the impulses
and manifested such an incredible event. I am looking forward to being part of

All of us who elected to make space in our lives for this experience also were blessed to witness and be part of Bruce's incredible generosity. I've organized and attended many conferences over the years ...Bruce has set a whole new standard of expectations for me.
Our Day 2 workshops were extremely well received, offering conference participants
concrete ways in which to view themselves as the Quantum Biological Humans
that they are. Anita Allen, Pat Donihee, Cathy Carmody, Celine Burlock, Ray
Landry and Koreen Kimakowich are all now moving into busy futures offering
many workshops and coaching experiences on topics ranging from addictions,
to reclaiming voice, to conscious parenting, to shifting identities for law
enforcement officers to new approaches to wellness for health care practitioners.

The Game of Money

“A finite game is in play when we view money as the most important
outcome of our efforts.
To view money as a trivial by-product derived from
the gratification that we, and others, get from our efforts is to play
an infinite game.”
In his book Finite and Infinite Games, James P. Carse argues that there are at least two types of games. He coins these Finite
Games and Infinite Games.
A Finite Game:
In a finite game, there is always a winner and there are those who rank below
the winner. A finite game has boundaries & limits (time & spatial limits,
for instance). It has a clear beginning and an end. It has rules that, during
the course of the game, do not change. Players in a finite game play to be
bestowed with power and titles. Finite games are serious and consume time.
The object of a finite game is to win.
An Infinite Game:
Players in an infinite game don’t play within limits or boundaries, they
play with boundaries. Not only can the rules change in an infinite game,
they must change. Infinite games are playful and generate time. In an infinite
game a player plays with strength. Although there can be a finite game played
within an infinite game, an infinite game cannot exist within a finite game.
The object of an infinite game is to keep the game in play.
This paper suggests how players in finite and infinite games might view their relationship with money. Furthermore, their view is constructed and framed within the WEL-Systems® Logical Levels of Thinking Model.
