It is with great pleasure that we are able to offer Igniting the Self: Awakening Creativity and the Ability to Connect - a program developed by The WEL-Systems® Institute - at Oceanstone. As someone who experienced this course, I know the power of the material presented.

When I signed up for the program I had no idea that it would change my life in such a positive way. Being a psychologist and an educator, I have had many opportunities to study and participate in programs and workshops to promote growth. None of my previous experiences could have prepared me for the impact stepping into Igniting the Self would have on my life.

The body of knowledge presented by WEL-Systems is unique and revolutionary. As a result of the experience, my life began to change almost immediately. Things that I felt were impossible started to happen as my own clarity regarding my direction became clearer. Many of the beliefs and attitudes which were hindering my own growth began to shift and fall away effortlessly. My life has become more expansive, playful and joyful. The excitement and the feeling of abundance that I now bring to my work at Oceanstone has had a profound effect on the growth of our business and the movement towards our original intention which is support the growth of individuals and groups who become our guests.

Shortly after I had experienced the joy and evolution that the WEL-System’s programs brought to my life, I had hoped to offer Igniting the Self at Oceanstone in a retreat setting. While I thought that this might take several years to develop, like many things in my life now, things are manifested much sooner than I could have anticipated. So, here we are instead of years only months later being able to offer it to you in a retreat setting. I believe that the added advantage of holding the course in a setting such as ours offers an opportunity for a complete pattern break from each of our everyday experiences.

Louise has scheduled the day so that there will be time for walks by the ocean or in the Preservation area, to have a massage or join in on our morning Tai Chi class held in our stone garden. The Tai Chi will be offered as part of the program for those who are interested. Of course, I can’t forget to mention this includes being pampered with some of the best cuisine in the Maritimes. These added opportunities for reflection, relaxation and to refresh your spirit in a natural setting along with the power of the unique and revolutionary material offered by The WEL-Systems® Institute will make this a memorable experience that will change your life.

Carole Carole MacInnis, Ph.D. is an educator and psychologist who has twenty years of experience as a university professor and over thirty years experience as a psychologist.
