Reclaiming Your Self ~ Episode 75 ~ The Jagged Edge of Possibility

Reclaiming Your Self

Possibility and potential – two words that we long to know personally, in the lives we create.  And yet sometimes, we pull back from the truth of who we might become, as we come face-to-face with the jagged edge of the impact and implications in our lives.  Although it’s not always easy and it’s not always fun, the great and soaring effect of embracing who we might become, demands that we first and foremost, be true to ourselves.  That takes courage – and the willingness to see what we see, hear what we hear and know what we know.

In conversation with: Noreen Mejias-Bennett - WEL-Systems Institute Affiliate and Certified CODE Model Coach™ – brings both wisdom and experience to any conversation!  For many years, as Noreen applied her significant skills and expertise to attending to people’s money, she soon discovered that far more compelling was the need to assist them in determining where meaning would be found in their lives.

Beyond her skills, credentials and willingness to engage, one of Noreen’s greatest gifts is to ‘call ‘em like she sees ‘em’.  The courage to speak out loud the unspoken undercurrents that far too often highjack people’s lives, is a reflection of her greatest gift: her willingness and ability to become the jagged edge of possibility.

In her own words:  “Leadership comes when I am willing to re-claim my VOICE. When I allow my voice to carry the message that comes from deep within my body, my life changes. The time is now.  Leadership must come from women who are willing to re-awaken, re-connect, re-define, re-claim for ourselves that which is meaningful and sustainable … that which will allow us to stay healthy and well.”

Thinking About… Potential

Posted by on October 15, 2012 at 12:31 pm

“The amount of potential you can access is directly proportional to the amount of the past… of your story… that you’re willing to release.”

Consider this:

Imagine a day… one just like today… with a distinctive difference.

Just for today, choose to notice every thought… every conversation… that recalls, recounts or refers to the past. In that moment of noticing, stop… take a breath… and as you slowly exhale, allow it to unfold into that silence. In the quiet passing of those moments, begin to notice that your habituated and often mindless commitment to the past fills up the vessel of your own potential, leaving you devoid of the future you deserve.”

Thinking About… Gifts

Posted by on July 18, 2011 at 6:56 am

Each of us carries our own unique gifts, capable of becoming ‘the one’ who can reach into and connect with the core of another’s unnoticed potential. What remains as a choice is whether or not we will engage.
