Melissa OwocI am very happy to share with you an event that combines two of my  passions:  scotch & art, with a scotch tasting event as the opening night celebration for the Reality vs. Illusion art exhibit.

The art exhibit offers the opportunity to explore ideas of reality and to discover how individual perceptions and filters influence how we interpret images and view the world.  The exhibit will include work by Melissa Owoc, Lydia Panart, Amanda Baron and Luc Belanger, all within the theme of Reality vs. Illusion and yet expressed so uniquely.

Melissa OwocI am very happy to share with you an event that combines two of my passions:  scotch & art.

The Reality vs. Illusion exhibit an extension of conversations and explorations into the notions of reality.  I am often curious about how we each experience and define our realities, knowing that as our individual perceptions and filters influence how we interpret images and view the world, our realities hold elements of uniqueness intersecting with points of commonality.  What do each of us hold as ‘real’?  What do we see or not see?  How do our beliefs and perceptions of reality affect what we define as possible or not possible?

As an evolving collective, it is important to recognize the beliefs, values and attitudes through which we define our world in order to explore the boundaries of reality.  How might we choose to live if anything is possible?

The exhibit will include work by Melissa Owoc, Lydia Panart, Amanda Baron and Luc Belanger, all within the theme of Reality vs. Illusion and yet expressed so uniquely.

Families: Hope, habit and beyond!

Posted by on December 16, 2010 at 5:51 pm

Episode 41 – Reclaiming Your Self ~ 10/12/16 ~ Families: Hope, habit and beyond!

The one thing we can all admit to is that none of us is hatched!  Whatever its shape or form; whether by accident or by design, family – and all that goes with it! – has an impact on us all.

For all the families that enjoy being together, there are the ones that struggle… with each other and against what have come to feel like the chains that bind.

Today, our notion of ‘family’ has become fluid; and given that our families are a reflection of who we are, there is hope for us all as we choose to come face-to-face with ourselves and each other.  It’s never too late as we redesign how we define ‘family’ in meaningful ways… and let go of what keeps us small.

Join Louise and her guests as they explore the myth of the intact family and all that goes with it… particularly at those times of year when history and habit can so easily overtake reason, intention and desire.

In conversation with: Audrey Buchanan, Melissa Owoc and Stephanie Nelson – Women in the WEL-Systems® community who are discovering that there is more to family than what they were taught to believe was possible!

Note: Audrey Buchanan and Melissa Owoc are shown in the picture to the right;

a picture of Stephanie Nelson is not available at this time.

Living a Paradigm Shift

Episode 23 – Reclaiming Your Self ~ 10/08/12 ~ Living a Paradigm Shift

It’s one thing to talk about it – and it’s another thing to live it! Paradigm shifts are the ‘stuff’ of philosophy and esoteric intentions. And yet, we spend our days living out of a paradigm for our existence that was handed to us, long ago, and that we have rarely questioned. What happens to the quality of our lives when we begin to challenge the status quo? How do we find our way through the maze of inherited practices and inherent, individual truths? Join Louise in conversation with two women who are discovering how to redefine themselves… and redesign how they live. It does not have to be hard – or take a long time! – for us to be able to be both willing and able to begin to BE different, that we might behave differently and have a different life. After all, it’s all about the choices we make – and these two women are choosing to choose, differently!

In conversation with: Audrey Buchanan and Melissa Owoc

Audrey Buchanan is a Literacy Coach living on Prince Edward Island – and is very new to a WEL-Systems® approach to change! Having recently experienced her first 5-day intensive – Decloaking and Living Authentically – she is discovering how to live meaningfully with a foot in two worlds : the one of her past and the one that awaits her creation.

Melissa Owoc is a Senior Project Manager and consultant who recently completed her second WEL-Systems® intensive – Engaging and Awakening Others – and is slowly but surely changing her world… and her life!
