Freedom, like safety, is an inside job. Before we can be free of our so-called ‘addictions’, we must first free ourselves of our own dated and limited thinking about them. Consider the outrageous and allow yourself to get curious about: where is the intelligence in my moving through my world this way? And were I to discover it, how else might my life unfold? Behind every addiction is a long-held secret, begging to be told. In that, the soul is freed.
