Plants behave in some oddly intelligent ways: fighting predators, maximizing food opportunities … But can we think of them as actually having a form of intelligence of their own? Italian botanist Stefano Mancuso presents intriguing evidence.
Stefano Mancuso is a founder of the study of plant neurobiology, which explores signaling and communication at all levels of biological organization, from genetics to molecules, cells and ecological… Full bio and more links
Episode 47 – Reclaiming Your Self ~ 11/01/27 ~ Chaos and Order: Forces of Creation
In a WEL-Systems® world, we know that Androgynous Baby™ and Nested Living Systems™ represent the forces that shape culture. These are neither good nor bad; right nor wrong, and are simply forces in play. What makes the difference will be the choices we make, with each one becoming the determining factor in the direction we take and, subsequently, the outcomes we produce.
Chaos and Order are no different. Neither is good/bad, right nor wrong… and yet, for many of us, we’ve been schooled to believe that Order is good and Chaos is bad. This polarized perspective leaves us seeking to do anything within our power to hold on to what we know rather than seek to allow the unknown to penetrate our lives.
Chaos and Order are constantly in a dance, in our every-day living. Whether expressions of our personal evolution, a parenting approach or the development of a successful business, Chaos and Order are constantly making themselves available to us, to choose. Are we more familiar or comfortable with one than we are with the other? Are we willing and able to embrace what seems like a force of destruction, trusting that doing so will bring life? Can we find the grace and beauty in what is collapsing as easily as we can in what is holding its shape?
Join Louise and her guest as they delve into the ideas of Chaos and Order at multiple levels of expression; and reconsider both as forces to be mindfully selected for transformation!
In conversation with:Anita Allen – a Certified CODE Model Coach™ – is Registered Physiotherapist and independent business owner; author; mother of three young children.. and the list goes on! Join Anita in conversation as she brings her unique perspective on weaving the forces of Chaos and Order into and through her daily life, recognizing the power of both to bring meaning and creation into her world. There are lots of different ways to see the world… and given the rapidly escalating intensity of the change occurring around the planet, we would do well to see our world through new eyes!
Signals Dancing™ is one in a series of original models (see model image) that combine to create the WEL-Systems® body of knowledge. This way of looking at what moves inside us (where we live) and around us, offers a shift in perspective that invites us to take a step back and re-evaluate the truth of our experience without getting lost in the content of that experience.
Drawing on a live recording from “Engaging and Awakening Others” – one of the five-day WEL-Systems intensives – this excerpt brings an invitation to pause; revisit our experience through different perceptual filters; and engage mindfully from this moment.. and move on.
Join Louise as she shares one of the many provocative and intimate moments that are both an essential part of a WEL-Systems intensive; and the hallmark of the power of their impact.
Technology is evolving us, says Amber Case, as we become a screen-staring, button-clicking new version of homo sapiens. We now rely on “external brains” (cell phones and computers) to communicate, remember, even live out secondary lives. But will these machines ultimately connect or conquer us? Case offers surprising insight into our cyborg selves.
Amber Case studies the symbiotic interactions between humans and machines — and considers how our values and culture are being shaped by living lives increasingly mediated by high technology. Full bio and more links
Episode 45 – Reclaiming Your Self ~ 11/01/13 ~ WEL-Systems:NLP – The Power of Perspective
NLP – or Neuro Linguistic Programming – has been around since the early ’70’s. More than 30 years have passed and yet, the growth of this body of knowledge continues to be constrained by the context within which it has been encouraged to evolve.
One of the key presuppositions of NLP is that all meaning is context dependent. If this is so (and it is!), what becomes possible if we expand the context for NLP from that of a Newtonian expression to that of a Quantum Biological experience? Who might we become willing to recognize, reclaim and engage as an expression of our own potential?
Join Louise as she explores WEL-Systems®:NLP and what makes it different from ‘traditional’ NLP: as an owner’s manual for the Quantum Biological Human™; and as a platform for accelerated evolution of Self.
In conversation with:Sheila Winter Wallace – WSI Affiliate and Certified CODE Model Coach – is a Certified Trainer of NLP and Hypnosis. Her long-time practice with others has allowed her to weave the threads of NLP, Hypnosis and many other wisdoms, into a tapestry of potential, designed to invite and accelerate human evolution. You can also hear Sheila on the CD Thoughts On… Standing Your Ground To find out more about Sheila, visit Sheila’s web site
Lisa J.Weiss, a WEL-Systems® Institute Affiliate and CODE Model Coach™ has created a new conversation series called InConversation, a four week guided exploration into who you believe your Self to be in this moment, and, the potential of who you may become in the next breath.
This program is open to individuals who are seeking a different type of conversation that has the potential to create a shift in your life; for those not quite ready for the five day intensive; and for individuals who have taken other WEL-Systems® based programs and want to stay in the conversations as a way of accelerating your evolution.
The first series of InConversation experiences runs March 2, 12, 16, and 30th. For more information please visit I of the Storm Coaching
The quality of my life will be determined by my capacity to manifest. Manifestation is a dance of mindfulness in flow with awakened presence as its conduit. Manifestation is not a dance of the intellect but one of the body in tune with and connected to an urge… an impulse… to choose in an instant. ”Turn left”… without hesitation or the monkey-mind internal squabbling that so often accompanies the impulse. ”Stop”… without the second-guessing and search for ‘evidence’ that we think is essential to giving us a good reason to stop. ”Silence”… without feeling the pressure inside ourselves of the need to ‘make sense’ of something; or ‘figure out’ why or when or how we should/shouldn’t just be still.

Episode 44 – Reclaiming Your Self ~ 11/01/06 ~ Penetrating Cultural Coma
As a new year begins, so does the dance of the ‘resolution’ for change. All those promises to ourselves… walking the edge of the sword as we move between giving up the familiar that we see as the cause of the problem, and taking on the unfamiliar in the hope that it will become the solution! Maybe this time, it will last longer than 10 days….
But what about the much bigger picture? What about the world through which we move; the one that has shaped us through family and culturally ingrained beliefs, values and attitudes; and far too often, continues to do so long after we think we are indeed, our own person?
How effective can we be in redesigning our lives if we are unable to see the invisible one that holds such sway over our ability to be true to ourselves?
Join Louise and her guests as they raise the bar on the explorations required to reclaim your Self – awakening to your internal cues and individual intentions in a much larger world profoundly committed to external referencing as the ‘truth’ essential to our survival!
In conversation with:Naomi Irons-Hill and Kae Shelby Roberts – WEL-Systems Institute Affiliates and Certified CODE Model Coaches™ – know the pull of the collective as a challenge to potential.
With differing and unique perspectives, both Naomi and Kae bring the insights and wisdom of their own compelling journeys to shed light on (and bring definition to the recognition of) the ‘invisible presence’ of others in the choices we make for ourselves.
