Awakening As One – The Plan

Posted by on June 29, 2010 at 5:57 am

Awakening As One exists for the sole purpose of inspiring and encouraging humanity to make the intelligent choice to unite and live for the peace and harmony of all, rather than for the material gain of the self.

Awakening As One commits the total sum of its available resources and creativity into the furtherance of the immediate divine objective for humanity and planet earth; which include 1) uniting those who hold a vision for a more harmonious existence, and 2) combining our diverse, yet complimentary skills, to spread about the truth of our times and inform humanity of the imminent choice that it will soon be compelled to make: will we continue to live for the Self, in fear, or for each other, in love?

TEDtalks ~ Chip Conley: Measuring what makes life worthwhile

Posted by on June 21, 2010 at 11:06 am

Inspired and inspiring! When work becomes an authentic and meaningful expression of who you are, it creates a sustainable business that in its very expression, transforms culture – not as a task but as a natural outcome of that expression. Enjoy!

When the dotcom bubble burst, hotelier Chip Conley went in search of a business model based on happiness. In an old friendship with an employee and in the wisdom of a Buddhist king, he learned that success comes from what you count.

As a young woman of 17, Lisa’s life seemed an enviable one! A good student and respected athlete, her life was unfolding in ways that most would consider ‘successful’. Then one day, she started crying and couldn’t stop. Days that once had felt fun and effortless were now filled with fear and dread. Today, at the age of 30, her life is a good one… and is not without its challenges. Join Louise and Lisa as she shares with us what it took to change her life; and how she continues to create a full and meaningful life, despite her moments of uncertainty and fear.

In conversation with: Lisa LeBrun – WEL-Systems:NLP Master Facilitator – has a good life! Now in management in the field of telecommunications, her work requires that she build teams, provide coaching and guidance to others, and engage in public speaking on a regular basis. Evoking Potential with Our Children

Posted by on June 3, 2010 at 12:45 pm

Episode 13 – Reclaiming Your Self ~ 10/06/03 ~ Evoking Potential with Our Children

The future is in the hands of our children.” We say that and yet, we continue to teach our children how to be who we have been.. plus 10%. Imagine how our world could unfold if we were to engage with our children to evoke their potential in ways that expand their realities and ours, rather than causing them to seek to find ways to fit into the realities we define for them. That takes more than discipline and good manners. Who must WE become in order to awaken our children to their courage, curiosity and the willingness to be true to themselves? Join Louise and Susan Bremner as they explore what it takes to invite and allow our children to discover how to be uniquely and authentically themselves.

In conversation with: Susan Bremner - Certified CODE Model Coach™ – has been working with others for most of her adult life. With a background in social work counseling, she knows well the challenges that face women and their children as they move through troubling times in their lives. As a National StarSkate Coach, her work with adolescents and young children (and their parents) goes well beyond their athletic ability to perform on the ice. Her passion, for helping them see the creative potential that they do not yet know exists, is what fuels their performance… and their lives!
