Personal Coaching: Going Bigger, Moving Faster and Finding Transformation

To change our language from ‘counselling/therapy’ to ‘coaching’ is not enough to make the difference that so many of us desperately seek. We must also change our own thoughts…our own energetic frameworks… within which we hold our definition of WHAT a human being is, for how we define WHAT we are will determine HOW we engage ourselves and each other.

Balance: Bogus Bounty?

Many devote time and effort to creating balance in their lives. Consider for a moment: what might our lives become if we were to free ourselves from the notion of ‘balance’ and seek, instead, to create meaning in our lives?

Living Life with an Edge

A recording by Louise LeBrun; duration = 7:13

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Like matter cannot form without energy, we cannot carve out our lives without an edge. Our edges separate who we have been from who we might become. They make it possible for us to move into what we want and leave behind what no longer sources us. Discovering and owning our edges invites us to find courage in our vulnerability, strength in our compassion and the willingness to reach out for the life we choose.

Addiction: Recovery or Re-discovery?

A recording by Louise LeBrun; duration = 7:05

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Freedom, like safety, is an inside job. Before we can be free of our so-called ‘addictions’, we must first free ourselves of our own dated and limited thinking about them. Consider the outrageous and allow yourself to get curious about: where is the intelligence in my moving through my world this way? And were I to discover it, how else might my life unfold? Behind every addiction is a long-held secret, begging to be told. In that, the soul is freed.

What Does it Take for Women to Lead?

A recording by Louise LeBrun; duration = 10:55

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

The words ‘leader’ or ‘leadership’ are rife with cultural rules and expectations – many of them holding little or no interest for the vast majority of women who ponder the possibilities.  Before women become willing to lead, it may be required to redefine leadership in ways that become more meaningful.  It may well be that in order for many women to embrace the leader that she already is, redefining leadership will need to precede reclaiming leadership.

Sekhmet Rising: The Restlessness of Women’s Genius

A recording by Louise LeBrun; duration = 15:13

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

The ancient Eqyptian goddess, Sekhmet, represents what the living expression of women can be. With the body of a woman and the head of the lioness, she calls to and awakens in us the truth of our capacity to give birth, to nurture and to sustain; and reminds us that we are equally capable of going after what we want, taking what is rightfully ours and ensuring that the roar of who we are is neither lost nor forgotten. In may well be that many are long overdue for the simple act of reconnecting our heads to our bodies… and trusting that we’ll be just fine!

Families: Behavioural Fractals

A recording by Louise LeBrun; duration = 6:03

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

“He’s just a chip off the old block!”  We read those words and know instantly what they mean: that we are an expression of those who have come before us.  How does that happen?   How do we get to be moulded and shaped in ways that leave us believing that we ARE what we’ve been told we are, devoid of any power to redefine or transform ourselves to be otherwise?   The answer is right before us and yet impossible for so many to recognize.  Take a moment to reconsider what history has offered and discover that we are not bound to what ‘was’ in the creation of who we might become.

Living Large in an Increasingly Smaller World

A recording by Louise LeBrun; duration = 12:09

When we look around at our world and how we move through it, consider the endless invitations that present for us to begin to notice that every choice we make is a reflection of our state of being, which then defines our world. If our world is in trouble (and it is), it may be time to stop… and ponder… not only who we already are but who else we might become. As each of us in the collective that we are transforms, we become the breath of fresh air that makes it possible for us to redefine how we choose to move through our days – and our world expands.

A recording by Louise LeBrun; duration = 7:13

We want to think of ourselves as unique and special.  Yet, how much of how we move through our lives has become habituated and repetitive… and worse, completely outside of our awareness?!  Take the time to stop… and pay attention… trusting that no matter what you discover, your world will have become bigger!
