Refusing to Disappear: Living Large

Posted by on April 17, 2013 at 6:16 pm

Louise LeBrun

My choice today, for myself and in sharing with all of you, is called ‘Living Large in an Increasingly Smaller World‘.

It is not what we do, it is who we believe we can become.

As our world begins to feel smaller and tighter, rather than curl in on ourselves, we must expand into our Selves.  For a new context for evolution, click here to read the Declaration of Evolution by Intention™.

When we look around at our world and how we move through it, consider the endless invitations that present for us to begin to notice that every choice we make is a reflection of our state of being, which then defines our world. If our world is in trouble (and it is), it may be time to stop… and ponder… not only who we already are but who else we might become. As each of us in the collective that we are transforms, we become the breath of fresh air that makes it possible for us to redefine how we choose to move through our days – and our world expands.

Living Life with an Edge: Daring to Awaken

Posted by on March 13, 2013 at 8:42 am

What far too many women overlook is the intensity and consistency of the cultural conditioning that ensures we have no edges!  Without edges, we are more willing and able to be moulded and shaped; with a greater likelihood of never noticing that we have disappeared from any notion or intention of our own creation and expression.

Today’s invitation is to stop… take a breath… and pay attention to that which we may well have long forgotten.  It is only in remembering the deeper truth of who we are, that we might fulfill the destiny of our own becoming.

Daring to AwakenInvest in yourSelf, consider the upcoming Emerging Futures® Retreat:

Sekhmet Rising: Daring to Awaken

April 16 – 19, 2013
Fairmont Chateau Montebello

During this retreat experience, you’ll be in the very good company of other women re-awakening to the great edge of their own potential!

Living Life with an Edge

Like matter cannot form without energy, we cannot carve out our lives without an edge. Our edges separate who we have been from who we might become. They make it possible for us to move into what we want and leave behind what no longer sources us. Discovering and owning our edges invites us to find courage in our vulnerability, strength in our compassion and the willingness to reach out for the life we choose.

Reaping what we mindfully sow

Posted by on February 27, 2013 at 4:27 pm

Louise LeBrunIt’s Wednesday and I’m mindful of my commitment to myself to listen to/for something that will expand my world. This one (on Evolution by Intention), I’ve listened to a few times, mindful that it’s not a quick listen; it’s not an easy listen; and it’s not a catchy little ditty that you can hum when you’re leaving the show! It has however, reminded me of who I am, why I’m here and what it’s all about.

I debated sharing with all of you because it’s longer (14 minutes instead of 5 minutes) and I know your days are busy ones. I am also aware that it’s not funny, light or airy; and you need to create the space to digest it. Otherwise, you must push yourself away from the table or end up with a burning sensation in the pit of your stomach. It’s a serious consideration on an important topic: my/your/our future and how we want to create it. We do indeed, reap what we sow. Perhaps if we were more present to and mindful of that notion, we would take greater care at the planting.

So, at the risk of overwhelming, I share with all of you nonetheless. May it leave you as agitated as it left me. Maybe – just maybe – agitation is indeed, a sign of Life to come!

We are slowly, but surely, coming to recognize that we need a new place to stand in the creation of our lives and our world. Building on or seeking to change what is, may no longer be enough to offer the transformation that we so greatly desire and require. Take a moment to consider how else we might choose to redefine and redesign our reality.

The Roar of ‘Enough!’

Posted by on February 13, 2013 at 9:39 am

Around the world, men and women are beginning to stand, together and in resonant voice, to declare, ‘Enough!’.

Enough violence against women and girls! Enough mindlessness and brutality! Enough looking the other way and pretending it isn’t so! Enough fabrication of story to make it right and noble! Enough!

The toughest conversation we will ever have is the one we have with ourselves. As in every and all things, it begins with The One that I AM; and it begins, within.

Sekhmet Rising: The Restlessness of Women’s Genius

The ancient Eqyptian goddess, Sekhmet, represents what the living expression of women can be. With the body of a woman and the head of the lioness, she calls to and awakens in us the truth of our capacity to give birth, to nurture and to sustain; and reminds us that we are equally capable of going after what we want, taking what is rightfully ours and ensuring that the roar of who we are is neither lost nor forgotten. In may well be that many are long overdue for the simple act of reconnecting our heads to our bodies… and trusting that we’ll be just fine!

Reconsidering ‘Coaching’

Posted by on February 6, 2013 at 11:32 pm

As we launch our first gathering for Affiliates 2013 and anticipate the same of ACES 2013, I am mindful of two thoughts:  interconnectivity and leaps!    I’ve been working with others for more than 20 years and am clear:  we need to make leaps in how we engage in the accelerated evolution of our own lives; and in our work with others.  The following short recording brings both the issues and the possibilities, into awareness.  If you’re looking for change in your lives or if your life is about working with others for change in theirs, take the time to listen.  Whether inspiring or irritating, you’ll no longer be able to ignore the challenges we all face – and have a better sense of how to engage it all!

Personal Coaching: Going Bigger

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

To change our language from ‘counselling/therapy’ to ‘coaching’ is not enough to make the difference that so many of us desperately seek. We must also change our own thoughts…our own energetic frameworks… within which we hold our definition of WHAT a human being is, for how we define WHAT we are will determine HOW we engage ourselves and each other.

The Power of the Process

Posted by on April 9, 2012 at 12:51 pm

There are lots of different ways to see the world…

At the close of a recent gathering of WEL-Systems Institute Affiliates, Louise LeBrun shared her thoughts on what the WEL-Systems®  body of knowledge offers those who are seeking transformation.  In her usual candid way, Louise speaks to the power of context for shaping our lives; and to ‘process’ as the invisible context that permeates our lives and how we live them.

This compelling and provocative 46-minute exploration will challenge your existing model of the world and invite you to dive deeper into your own potential.  Whatever your conclusion or personal choice, you will be unable to remain indifferent to the exploration of what accelerated evolution can be for you, in your life.

Balance: Bogus Bounty?

Many devote time and effort to creating balance in their lives. Consider for a moment: what might our lives become if we were to free ourselves from the notion of ‘balance’ and seek, instead, to create meaning in our lives?

Addiction: Recovery or Re-discovery?

Freedom, like safety, is an inside job. Before we can be free of our so-called ‘addictions’, we must first free ourselves of our own dated and limited thinking about them. Consider the outrageous and allow yourself to get curious about: where is the intelligence in my moving through my world this way? And were I to discover it, how else might my life unfold? Behind every addiction is a long-held secret, begging to be told. In that, the soul is freed.
