Lorna LeBrun

Lorna LeBrun is mother and grandmother extraordinaire! She celebrated her 81st birthday in March of 2006. Increasingly more vibrant from one year to the next, her life is filled with humour and compassion; people she loves and who love her back; and a healthy dose of irreverence to make sure that she doesn’t get too stuck in her world view!

At the age of 81, Lorna has become a first-time published author. "I never thought I had anything to say that was interesting enough to put in a book!", she says. "And now, I"m thinking that I need to write about what it is to have a family member with a dimentia - and how to live WELL with it."

A retired Registered Nurse (RN) by profession, Lorna retired from a bed-side practice 25 years ago. However, her deep careing for others; and her willingness and ability to make a difference in their lives, continues to shape how her days unfold. She continues to open her life to others, welcoming the opportunity to see and be seen along the journey of her life.
