- How much of who you are do you hide from others?
- How often do you say ‘yes’ when you want to say ‘no’?
- Does the conversation inside you match what comes out of your mouth?
- How fearful are you of hurting someone’s feelings, and why?
- How do you “decode” the messages from your body and change your life?
‘Hiding in the bushes’ is a way to describe those of us who choose to keep our deepest and most authentic thoughts, yearnings, fears, desires and passions, to ourselves - and well hidden from others. This doesn’t mean that we don’t talk a lot, or have strong opinions about people, issues, things or causes. It means that when we do speak, we are either unable or unwilling to reveal (to family, friends, colleagues, bosses, etc.) who we really are on the inside, avoiding awkward, confrontational or risky situations.
Using WEL-Systems® as a world view, and an Open Forum process of conversation, we’ll explore questions such as:
- How willing are you to give yourself permission to wake up, to grow, to evolve and to step into your potential?
- What happens to your body and mind when you choose to not step into your potential – when you choose to stay asleep?
- How can you access the wisdom of your body so that you can “decode” what is keeping you from stepping into your full potential?
- What long-held beliefs, values or attitudes (stemming from our cultural conditioning) may be preventing you from coming out of hiding?
- How does it actually feel (in your body) to experience a sense of “safety” as you reveal who you are to others?
- How do you come to know the difference between your truth and someone else’s truth?
- How do you begin to notice the difference between your truth about you and your truth about someone else?
